Granny

Granny admitted to hospital yesterday morning. She refused to be sent to hospital. My uncle is staying with her, but we really don't know why she doesn't want my uncle to send her to hospital. Uncle had to called my dad over. Finally, she decided to go. She's having difficulties in breathing and her leg was swalloned. Dad hold her to the car, but she rejected and pushed him away. Granny was with the Sentosa Medical Centre for the previous years and her case is consider very serious. Her doctor was treating patient when they reached, Doctor Mohinder Singh. When he saw she was sent into the hospital, he hold on to his patient and granny was immediately sent in to the ICU. She is in critical stage.

Me, Jamie and Ann followed mum to pay granny a visit this evening. ICU allow visitors to go in 2person at the same time, so mum and jamie went in 1st. Next was my turn and ann. Ann obviously very scared at that particular moment, face changed in a second. I went in. Granny looks better. What makes me heart sick is her hand was swalloned and there's host around her. I was alone with her.

me : have you taken your dinner?
granny : yea, taken. I had rice today.
me : can eat rice already?
granny : yea, yesterday ate porridge, i hate porridge. Had fried rice just now.
me : O...
granny : what's the date for today? 9th right?
me : no ma, is 11th.
granny : oh, so SPM results is coming out.
me : yea, this monday.
granny : ma wanted to buy you a necklace on the 9th, but didn't managed to get it.
me : for me?
granny : a gold necklace. is this real gold? ( i'm wearing )
me : yea, it is ma.
granny : ok, if you get 2As in your SPM, then i'll get one necklace for you.
me : huh...( tears starting to burst, but i hold it back )
granny : yea, get 2As, ma 'll get one for you. ok ah...

I begin to love her more and more. She's the most caring granny that i believe none other would have. And I finally realised that the reason she refused to admit to hospital is because she's worried about the cost after she discharge. Whatever is it, I pray that granny 'll recover soon.
